A National prayer initiative - THE church in Southampton

‘Turn the Battle’ is a national prayer and fasting initiative bringing churches together to pray for our nation together, with 3 days of prayer and fasting, 21-23 January 2026.

OneBody Southampton, together with many church leaders across the city, supports this initiative and we are working to bring together people and churches from across the city to pray.

There is lots going on and we invite you to come and pray with others from across the city.

It will be a journey, a fresh commitment to PRAYER -> CONSECRATION -> BOLD LIVING

Have some questions?

What if there isn't a venue near me?

We want to encourage as many as possible to pray so if you would like to open up a venue to pray during the three days then let us know and we will add the details on here.

What should I pray?

Pray as you feel is right but there are also prayer guidelines available: Prayer Themes

What happens if there is a schedule change?

Please keep an eye on this website to see the most recent schedule as events are being listed regularly.

Do I have to pray at the main venues?

Absolutely not. There is always power in praying together, so praying together as a group is good but this movement is about prayer and not about an event. So if you want to get a group together, or simply pray on your own then please do. If you would like to invite others to join you then please let us know and we can share the details.
